Insomnia and Daydreams
When we lose our sleep, will our dreams morph into reality?
Are you on something?
Most likely no since my state remains adamant about not tapping into the endless revenue of legalizing marijuana.
But hey! My name is Minh, and I recently graduated from a small college with a degree in Biomedical Science, which means I am marginalized like my queer community in terms of presence and number of fucks given to me. I want to start this blog as a way for me to reflect on all things from my college experience, getting started on deciphering the jargons of research papers, as well as my hobbies (including but not limited to music, musicals, drags, sewing, reading, etc.).
Wait, so how do I navigate through all this crap?
Right below should be a menu of all the different contents that I put out on this site. There should be four different categories:
1) Can I Use the Fiber of Life to Sew a Dress?
This page will be used for my college and life experience, and how it has shaped me into this mess of a person.
Why? At this stage of my life, my college experience has been the most transforming step, so to reflect on the journey and allow for storytelling help me somewhat regain (or relive) my best memories while contemplating on what has gone astray.
2) Reading it Wrong Right
My analysis of research papers and books that I read during my free time.
Why? Reading papers and dissecting them have been a crucial part of my growing self as I dive deeper into the ocean of science. As cliche as that analogy went, I do believe that being able to decipher and break down new discoveries should be comparable to breathing as a scientist. I want to simplify the papers and explain them in layman terms so that I could be better at translating the jargons of the research world into the information necessary to others.
3) Tucked, Taped and Gooped
My hobbies and comedic pieces in a junk drawer.
Why? I love what I do! To be able to do the things I adore so much and then share them to the world is invaluable.
4) About Me
Very self-explanatory
